RoboVC – startup to watch!

Have you ever hoped for some help while screening hundreds of startups?

I bet you did at least once. It’s so much time consuming and challenging part of the venture investment process and all in all crucial to some extent. There is an idea, called RoboVC, that aims to use AI to make the process more efficient and speed it a little bit. That’s project I’m really crazy about. Penny Schiffer, working in Swisscom, came up with this initiatives while screening potential companies Swisscom  corporate venture could cooperate with. The MVP is being prepared. They want to analyse at least five big startup databases from venture capitalists and startup acceleration programs. It should show them which factors are most relevant to building a prediction model. It’s quite interesting structure. Since, it’s corporate venture which look for startups rather than becoming the founder itself, it just happening here. I believe it’s challenging assessing startups and the next day being assessed by someone else. I look forward to some updates on the progress of the RoboVC.
