Snapshot from the Blockchain Leadership Summit and about Women presence on the market

Blockchain Leadership Summit triggered a lot of new initiatives, business relationships and startup ideas. It reunited hundreds guests, 70+ speakers and 50+ partnering organisations for 2 days to discuss the future of the blockchain technology and see the real cases of its implementation. The Summit has been initiated by InnMind, the first Swiss-made global business ecosystem, global community for Innovation.

TOP experts, proactive investors and recognized visionaries spent some time during the workschops as well as regular presentations discussing global effect, financial regulation of blockchain integration, real cases of the next industrial revolution. They talked about centralized liquidity domination, DEX development, lemmings on the market and demonstrated the pros and cons of investments in Blockchain.

I’ll list below a few topics I personally found extremely inspiring (the exhaustive list of the speakers and the full agenda you can find here):

How is it like to be women in blockchain? How the blockchain technology looks like from the women point of view? How to advance diversity and mitigate inequality? Why should we encourage women to work in blockchain? All these questions were tried to be answered by Kamales, Emi and Monica. Dennis Sarkar moderated and helped by asking the very right questions straight to the point!
All these three women are completely fascinated by blockchain technology, two of them are independently running their own companies and they all show how exciting blockchain world is. It’s just to be discovered! Getting deeper into this new projects or joining existing initiatives will shouw you the real, unlimited benefits and huge potential of blockchain technology.
For the women particularly, it seems that everybody understands and supports inclusion and gender equality in IT/TECH businesses so it’s just our turn to take action and become active on the market. Accounting, finances, advisory is also part of blockchain area so it’s not all about the coding and fixing computers. It’m much broader area than most people think.

At the end, there is no difference between women and men. A women from the audience perfectly compared that indicating women and men in blockchain is like distinguishing person with blue and brown eyes. It’s kind of pointless already. The world is almost united as on the picture below. Men joined women on the stage and had amazing discussions later on.

Also, it’s great opportunity to mention here about WIBS, a newly launched group for women interested in blockchain. WOMEN IN BLOCKCHAIN SWITZERLAND is established by Kamales and Emi and has kicked off only few months ago. Feel free to take a look at the website and join the blockchain women leaderships association.

Blockchain and Environmental Impact

Ubuntu – I Am Because You Are. That’s Mamadou Toure’s approach to blockchain in general. Blockchain is supposed to build wealth and not reduce poverty. The vision to create wealth and happiness for people is the proper one and not just to make bad things smaller. Blockchain is social by definition. We need visionaries, good examples so people could learn from real situations. Additionally, it should be done in wide scale to really see the impact. Legal system and authorities can help on the side and allow development of this kind of projects but’s it’s our mission to spread the word and start implementing little processes into real life.

Structuring an ICO

If you are thinking of structuring an ICO, feel free to contact Dr. Manuel Meyer and Dr. Yves Mauchle. They gave great workshop on the ICO in general, different types of tokens and what trend they see while working with people and assist in initial coin offerings. As you may heard, majority of ICO projects fail but it does not necessarily need to be like that. Reliable project with the proper vision, product people like and need, experienced advisors and friendly regulations environment can be key to success.

Startup pitches and winner announcement.

Nobody expected that two startups can possible receive exactly the same number of votes but it just happened! Congratulations and keep going! Looking forward to the news about projects development and market launches.

Key lesson learned and advice form the speakers:

Russia is developing ‘voting on blockchain’ solution. Check out Polys to learn more about online voting system.

Speak your mind, be honest and you will eventually get the support and investments. If you are in the field, having good idea and believing in what you are creating, it’s gonna take time but your determination will pay off.

You invest in philosophy. Bitcoin, Ethereum, cash, they are all different philosophy so just follow what you feel and what is closer to your reality and rationality.

Revolution sounds to be good but to have all the benefits of the big movement we need to think and direct the development in good direction.

Growing number of decentralised exchanges make the crypto currencies more accessible and more liquid.

End note:
The conference is a space for active networking and exchanging business ideas as well as gaining additional knowledge about the topics of interest. Therefore, huge cudos for people involved in organising the Blockchain Leadership Summit. We need more and more opportunities to connect and create additional value on the market.
