Getting ready for Boston MBA adventure

It’s already 2 years since I’ve been accepted for MBA program in my dream city – Boston. It’s now time to pack my luggage and eventually experience everything what the city has to offer and see if it’s, indeed, how it’s written in books and city guides;) I’ve read hundreds of blogs about Boston, its’ housing, living, events, traditions, what to do, how to survive winter time;), best place to work, shop, network, learn, you name it! Actually, that’s one of the best part of moving to new country, the time before when you think, plan, organise and imagine your new life. I feel like being prepared for what’s coming but I know there are things that cannot be learned in advance, situations that you cannot predict and feelings you cannot imagine but just let it happen along the way. I love that feeling of unknown and excitement of the best that is yet to come. That’s super stimulating being alone in the new place and discovering everything on your own. New people, new places, best coffee spots, walking parks, biking trails, shopping centres, flee markets, co-working spaces, community events, startup pitches and new, totally different than in Switzerland, local founders ecosystem.

Yeah, getting to the point – I’m super excited for getting to know Boston VC and startup communities. Boston just jumped up to the 2nd place (just after Silicon Valley) when it comes to VC funding in Q1&2 this year! It clearly shows rapidly growing demand for startups financing and points out developing market for early stage founders. It’s not surprising that young, best world university graduates want to try it out and build their own companies. Having financing easily accessible, platform support, experienced business owners who exited multiple times to assist them along the journey and it all is at their fingertips! It seems like a perfect starting point and the best time for your idea, that has been growing for a while already, to come into life.
Give it a try!
I’m giving Boston a try and I strongly believe I’ll take the most out of my stay here 🙂 You are already so welcoming! 🙂
See you around!
